The rooms at Red Roof Inn Dahlgren-Naval Base are super cozy with all the essential perks. I really appreciated the free WiFi and the abundance of outlets for charging my gadgets. The cable TV with CNN and free HBO was a nice touch for winding down.

I found the bathtubs a bit small, but that's just my personal preference.

Omg, the location near shops and restaurants was on point! loved the diy wafflemaker for breakfast, but it wasn't ready on time 😞. The room helped me unwind, but it was too cramped and buggy 😬. Staff was lovely ❤️.

We had a fantastic time at Colonial Beach, splashing in the Potomac River and soaking up the sun at the quaint beach. Machodoc Creek Marina was a blast for kayaking, offering serene waters and beautiful views. The hotel's location near these spots was ideal for our family's fun-filled activities.

My wife says that the hotel could benefit from a kids' play area for families.
